‍‍‍‍‍‍For my recent projects I have redesigned the entire UI for web, mobile, and native apps. I try to incorporate UX throughout the UI design process. With rapid prototyping and continuous user testing and reiteration of the UI designs. This allows the design to be fluid and avoids finding problems after you have built them into your designs.‍‍‍

I'm no developer! But I do have a good understanding of basic HTML/CSS and some JavaScript... I made this site and the ICCBA's web/mobile site from scratch. This allows me to base my design decisions on what I know is possible as well as allowing me to talk to developers in their own language.

I have over 8 years of product design experience. I started out running a futon and bed company in Camden. I soon had the idea to start an online bean bag company. I was in charge of designing all products and visual design and collaborated with a number of big brands. I ran this retail / e-commerce business from 2004-2010. Human Centered Design drove most of our decisions.‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍

I have always had a love of Art and Design. A self-taught Graphic Designer that's used photoshop for about 20 years (now using Sketch for the last 2 years). I'm also a keen illustrator and find these two skills a great asset for UX. Quickly sketching ideas or bringing clients' visions to life. From Logo/icon design to Personas and Scenarios.
